Jon Graves founded Jon Graves Architecture in 1995, and the company needed a brand refresh. I worked with Tarius Marketing group as the designer. After re-naming the company from John Graves Architecture to Graves + Associates we started with design concepts (above)
The final mark is made up of shapes in a tangram. A tangram is a puzzle consisting of 7 flat pieces called tans which are put together to form shapes. The mark represents their mission and values “feasibility over fashion”. The mark represents the firm as multi-dimensional, building centric, flexibility and versatility of services, forward motion and progress, bold, modern, and clean while remaining practical and balanced. This mark is intended to feel trustworthy, solid, adaptable, and modern with classic roots.
