I attended a yoga teacher training course, and I made this poster for my class as we were learning the sanskrit names for poses.
Left Corner Promotion
I designed a postcard for my first Left Corner Design promotion. The front of the card was printed on found paper including old architectural plans, vintage ledger paper, graph paper, an old geometry book, and various other papers. The quote was printed on the front with a small gocco screenprinter.
All pieces were spray glued to a thick piece of press board and cut by hand. This design uses simple 1-color black printing, heavy card stock and interesting paper texture that together makes a unique piece.
I made journals out of old hardcover books with a unique paper assortment inside. I love old graph paper, the texture of old printing processes on paper, and the textures of paper. Each journal was unique and one-of-a-kind.
I made and sold handmade lampshades out of various materials like vintage wallpaper, maps, and painted material. Each one was unique and some were custom orders. I have a large collection of vintage wallpaper and fabric, this project allowed me to use some of my collection.
Square Paintings Series
I made a series of 10x10" paintings on canvas and wood from words in my journal. I made about 20 total, but here you can see six of them.
I made and sold canvas floorcloths. They were painted with vintage wallpaper rollers and each one was made by hand and finished with a protective coat.
